Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the tree's

After the animation part which I worked on first. I wanted to tackle the most challenging and time consuming sequences so I can plan ahead in case anything that was to go wrong. It took a lot of time to set it up and figure out how I wanted to produce this. I used the revelaing pen tool to reveal the different lines. But as I had originally drawn the asset with a lot of different line qualities at different thicknesses I also need to apply the time and effort to animate each thickness on a seperate layer in this case.

Here is a preview of the final result when all the layers have been played back I wanted them to all go at different speeds and times just to make it more visually engaging and I tested it with music as well which did prove to give a better result as opposed to all playing at the same time. There is a sense of discovery and unexpectedness when they are all moving at different speeds and times.

Here are some of the differnt layers, I used different colours for the layers to help me keep them apart, and help me manage everything which did at one point start getting out of hand and hard to keep on top of.
Below is the layers for the eyes which were also seperate and appeared at differnt times when it was required. I think the really suttle and easy movements and tricks like this is what really made it work well even alonside the bigger and harder to produce animations. the little details like this made a huge difference.
