I WANTED TO EXPOIT COLOUR WITH THE NEXT ANIMATIONS, AND WANTED TO BE ABLE TO PRODUCE SOMETHING THAT MOVES IN A NON STATIC OR VECTOR TYPE WAY. WHICH I HOW I CAME ABOUT TO EXPERIMENT IN THIS WAY, AND ALSO WITH A FEW CLIPS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING INTO ON MY DC BLOG, IN PARTICULARLY INSPIRED BY THE OPENING TITLES OF MOULIN ROUGE WHICH I FOUND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONLINE. BUT I WANTED TO SEE HOW IT WORKED AND HOW MUCH I COULD GET OUT OF IT, OR USE SIMILAR METHODS TO DEVELOP SOME OF MY OWN CLIPS WHEN IT WAS RELEVANT. I MADE LAYERS IN PHOTOSHOP WHICH VARIED IN COLOUR AND OPACITY AS WELL AS ADDED TEXTURES AND GRAINY BACKGROUNDS. I THEN TOOK IT INTO AFTER EFFECTS AND ANIMATED IT. 
ONE OF THE MAIN ISSUES I HAD ONCE I IMPORTED THE LAYERS I WORKED ON IN PHOTOSHOP IS I DIDNT REALISE THAT EVEN THOUGH I HAD CHANGED THE OPACITY OPTIONS ON EACH LAYER IN PHOTOSHOP, THEY STILL APPEARED AS SOLID LAYERS IN AFTER EFFECTS, WHICH MEANT I HAD TO RE- DO THE OPACITY.I THEN JUST SIMPLY MULTIPLIED EACH LAYER ACROSS 5 SEC SO IT COULD LOOK CONSISTANT.
