Circus it is then. I came across this book whilst researching typography and circus related visuals, and this book was very useful, It goes through a vast variety of different cirucs poster art through the years, What was really interesting was the variation in styles, even though there was a continous theme and approach in terms of colour, it was consistant but the methods used for example were really different, looking at more traditional ones, which used etching techniques to more modern approached with abstract colours, and shapes as well as type. It has allowed me to really consider the approach I might have visually on the theme, if I choose to go by one or make another more modern one, depending on the audience and actual area I want to focus in on.
