In Context//

Today I took all the printed albums and vinyls and took them into record shop to photograph them in context for the final presentation. Not only did it really give m confidence in my work amougst other orginal art works but it was also the chance to look at some great pieces of design and really value it. There was so many amazing pieces I wanted to buy them all. I looked at the type and the relationship it had with image and the way it has changed from todays artwork. I was able to get some good shots for my boards and really a great way to end this brief off. I think it suits it really well and with some retouches here and there It will come to a good end. 

FINAL CRIT///

Today we had our final crit in which I presented my board mock ups and was able to get some feedback on what I have done so far and what I needed to do more in order to be able showcase what I had done to the best of my ability. All the feedback was fair and really just confirmed what I needed to do more, I already knew all the thinkgs that my blog was missing so all I need to to from this point onwards is finish my documentation//boards and do some last priting of my posters and putting my context images on the boards. I am so far in time with evertything I had planned and really happy with the feedback I got and the way in which this brief has come about and nearly ending. I would really like to extend it in the future as I really think I could do more with more time and really exploit the idea's and techniques I have in both illustration and type. In terms of the content everthything seemed clear, much more as the last crit was all I needed to now work on is the documentation of my products and process till the end.
