The first step of this brief was to identify 5 briefs that we could develop a starting point from to the product//range and distribution brief. From the range of briefs I have had a look at I found it really hard to pinpoint 5 because I had a specific idea as to what I wanted to produce and what kind of work I wanted to be able to experiement with and methods that will allow me to really showcase the type of work I want to look into and the kind of work I would be able to produce as part of my first portfolio steps. During these past three week, along with looking into the kind of companies I would like to intern in I have had time to realise that I need to come back to why I started off this course and the kind of things I enjoyed working with and looking at, which looking back I have realised I have lost a little along the way, and have developed at the same time a very narrowed down and critical approach to the contextual reference I have. Even though this is a valueable skill that has had a benificial impact on the work I have produced so far on the course, It has also turned my attention slightly away from the kind of things that drive me. One of my aims from this point onwards is to be able to balance the two which are both necessary for me to progress.
So for this last step of the second year I have chosen to look into these 5 briefs::
