Design Practice

Since last time when I was looking at type on its own and how I was going to apply that to the animation or opening few frames, I have been thinking about producing something that indicated showtime, red curtain kind of approach which will be appropriate to the theme. This would be placed ideally behind the curtains or used as the main logo which will also appear on the idents. I looked at colours and shapes I have picked up from research and then experimented with other more appropriate approaches and variations. 

These are the ones I think  I prefer they have a 50's retro look as well in terms of the type which I really like on its own but am not sure if it works as well on with colour and things around it and especially with the way in which I distorted it. Its not the best it can be, but I wish to develop it more and be able to produce something that might work better- and isnt as out of place.
